FRANK TOWNSEND
President & CEO
Mr. Townsend is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot Shotcrete, LLC, which was honored to receive the award of "Best Veteran's Owned Business Under 3 Years" by the Department of New Jersey in 2021. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Superior Gunite, a General Contractor, and as an Army Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, having managed several projects throughout the United States and Guam. He plays a vital role in the firm’s growth, success, and reputation. He has been awarded the US Army Corps of Engineers de Fleury Medal and Engineer News-Record New York’s “Top 20 Under 40” design and construction leaders in 2016. Mr. Townsend currently serves as Committee Chair for ACI, President of ASA, and on the boards of various organizations.
GEORGE MACHIKAS
Director of Operations
Mr. Machikas has been in the business since 1995. Prior to joining Patriot Shotcrete, LLC, he worked with Superior Gunite and ran his own concrete ready-mix and construction company in Pennsylvania. Mr. Machikas has rich experience in managing complex projects. He reviews all contracts and performs project management for the Patriot team. Mr. Machikas partners with clients and helps guide a good project to a great one.
ROSEMARY ESPOSITO
Controller
Ms. Esposito serves as Controller for Patriot Shotcrete, LLC. Prior to her work here, she worked with area accounting firms specializing in accounting and finance. Ms. Esposito has been instrumental in launching new accounting processes, procedures, and software with Patriot. She performs all administrative tasks, accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP), and is the glue of the team—if something looks wrong, she investigates and provides you with what you need.
JOE CONTRI
General Superintendent
Joe is the General Superintendent at Patriot Shotcrete, LLC. He is charged with a portfolio of clients comprising Heavy Civil Contractors to Building owners. Joe sources the best labor force and trains them daily while staying on time and budget. He is very good at working with clients to deliver what they expect. Joe is focused on safety and communication with both the field and client teams. He ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day activities.
GARY SPINELLI
Purchasing & Shop Manager
With his purchasing expertise, Gary supports the operations team at every step of each project. He is proficient in implementing the most current supply chain tools at the company. He coordinates suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and budgets. Gary anticipates and provides delivery for all project needs to facilitate a smoothly run operation.
STEVE CRAWFORD
Business Development and Support
Mr. Crawford has had a balanced career as both a General Contractor and a Concrete Specialty Contractor. Most recently, he served as President of Superior Gunite and has served on numerous ACI Committees. He joins Patriot Shotcrete in a support role for Business Development, Contracts, and Risk Management.
